The National Addiction Memorial honors the loved ones we’ve lost.

Rob had the biggest heart. always trying to help others. He loved animals . he loved to fish and was very good at it. He also had several aquariums and even hatched sharks from eggs. He was very proud of his daughter Katelyn and son Robert . his favorite holiday was HALLOWEEN . HE LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT IT. Rob had a great sense of humor . He played the drums and was in a band . He was a glasier by trade and got alot of compliments on his work. When he was well he recovered loud and helped others!

There are so many good memories , but he was always happy when he was fishing. One time when he was about 8, he wanted to fish in a river right after a rain , he said fishing would be good then ,so i took him ,he proceeded to slide in pole and all and i had to jump in and save him , it was a struggle and afterwords he said mom we have to hurry up and clean the pole off so it doesnt get wrecked! i also shared his love for HALLOWEEN and always did Halloween activities with him , carving pumpkins, attending scare crow fest and of course scary movies and haunted houses .

Being around him , sharing laughs and time with family! also his big bear hugs!

AS A FUNLOVING , SOFT HEARTED GUY! ALWAYS ON TOP OF HIS APPERANCE .AND A BIG HEART FOR HIS KIDS AND SISTER AND BROTHER, HE ALWAYS SPOKE VERY HIGHLY OF ME HIS MOTHER AND PEOPLE ALWAYS TELL ME THAT !

Cole was so funny, kind, and warm. Made each person he knew feel special. He was complicated, smart, full of anxiety, and suffered from OCD, and ADHD.

His laugh! Deep and rich that made you laugh even harder.

Everything. The good and bad. His smile, laugh, voice, sense of humor, his intensity.

As someone who loved his family and friends. Who made a difference to those who needed it.

Adam was funny and generous of spirit, He never met a stranger. He welcomed everyone in to his life
He adored his children and grandchildren.

On a cruise that we took with Adam and his wife, he spent most of his time getting to know the staff. He made everyone feel special. I just wish that he felt special

As a loving and kind man who was loyal and loved the Lord

So outgoing, energetic and funny yet a lost soul. Laura was giving and kind to others to a fault. I miss her dearly!

It was amazing to watch Laura’s gentleness, especially with littles and the elderly.

I MISS EVERYTHING!

I would just like others to continue to share about her to keep her memory alive.

She was the rock of the family. Very smart and driven. She always had the right words to say when you were lost or confused in life. She loved her kids more than anything in life. She was the one who kept everyone grounded in life.

My favorite memory of my sister Nikki is when we would have our sister dinners and tickle each other's feet.

Having her here to watch her kids and nieces grow up. Missing all her milestones in life and her not being by my side when we got old.

Never forgotten. Never gave up on anything. The most amazing Mom, Sister, Daughter, Aunty, Grandaughter.

Lorne was a genuine soul, what you saw is what you got. He was witty, always ready to help and cared so deeply for the ones he loved. Our time together was cut way too short, but I’m so blessed to have had him as my partner in life.

The time he rushed home from work to help relocate a snake that was trying to move in with us, lol. I got it on video!😊

I can’t answer this in 500 words or less. I miss everything about him, truly. The way he looked at me, the love he provided my daughter, his laugh, his checkins with me after challenging days at work, his touch. I miss all of him.

Lorne would like to be remembered as someone who loved his family, both personal and professional. Someone who took the time to listen and not just respond. His presence impacted others in a joyous way.

Jimmy was the best older brother. He was a character. Anyone who knew him well knew his intelligence was off the charts, his sense of humor would have you laughing until you lost your breath, and he loved his family & friends more than anything.

There are too many to count but I loved sitting with him and his best friend, Erin on the back deck, having “Katie Parties,” as he called them (my name is Katie). Just the three of us sitting, talking and laughing. ;)

How much he cared. And how he made me laugh until I would cry. Even though he is gone, I knew how much he loved and cared for me and there is comfort in that.

I think he would want everyone he held close in his life to know how much he loved them. How that was the most important thing to him.

Brittney's hugs were the biggest, her laugh the best, and her smile the brightest. Her love was strong, her empathy deep, and her advice uplifting.

My favorite memory of Brittney is thinking about her playing outside. She loved bugs, playing in the mud and rolling in the grass. One time she came home covered head to toe in mud.

Everything!! But if I have to say one it would be her hugs.

As a passionate, caring and loving friend to all.

My brother was the best person I knew .
He was a son a brother a father a uncle he had a smile that you would never forget and he was so talented he loved playing his guitar and writing poetry and one pill took him from me and his family his children his grandchildren will never know what an amazing person was taken from us I'm forever broken

Not for his addiction but the person he was he was so much more then his addiction.

Michael was an incredible father and grandfather. He cherished family and was always eager to make new memories with them. Michael was a phenomenal barber and an amazing cook.

I will forever miss his contagious laugh and the way he would shed a tear or two when laughing too hard. His beautiful blue eyes and hugs that could make you feel safe instantly.

Michael would like to be remembered for the unconditional love he had for his daughter and grandson, his legacy.

Jonathan was smart, witty and kind. He loved to watch sports and he enjoyed going to baseball games and hockey games. Jonathan graduated from University of Delaware. Jonathan loved the beach and swimming.

One of my favorite memories of Jonathan is always going to the beach every summer with him and his sister and his cousins. Jonathan swam and jumped the waves no matter what the temperature was of the Atlantic Ocean.

I miss his daily text messages and phone calls. I miss talking to him and spending time with him. I miss the future that we should have had together.

I would like Jonathan to be remembered for his kindness, wit and intelligence.

Brendan was a great dad to our daughter. He was loving and caring. We will forever miss and love him.

Everytime he smiled, when he would just randomly grab my hand and smile and watching him teach Emma to skip rocks at the beach!

He will be missed more than words could ever describe.

As an amazing father to our daughter!

He was my baby brother but protected me like he was older. Loved his daughters and family more than anything. Even on his worst days he was a hard worker and would help anyone.

Always put others before himself, would ignore his problems to make sure you was okay. He just wanted what’s best for everyone very kind hearted.

Loving, funny personality.

Being there for everyone in his life no matter what, why or who. Remember don’t be sad live life for him as he would want. Hopefully will encourage people to get sober. #DRUGSKiLL

His story was hard won. A life many of us could not have made it through with love still in our hearts. And he did. He pushed on every day through agony for the love of his children. He never gave up. Gone far too soon...

Him holding each child as a just born infant....talking so sweetly, with all of his "tough guy" tattoos.

His ferocity and intelligence. His ability to fight and love despite his demons was truly remarkable.

As someone who was strong, and would do absolutely anything for his family. He was the "take a bullet" for you kind of man. He cared about what was right.

Daniel was full of life. He was passionate towards everything. He always rooted for the “underdog”. Probably why Seattle sports was his favorite lol. He was fiercely protective of those he loved. A phenomenal father. A Journeyman Union Carpenter.

I have so very many but one of my favorites was when we were at the Seattle Seahawks Vs Cardinals game, I believe in 2016-2017. Seattle was smashing the Cardinals and Daniel just kept screaming “Hawks eat little baby Cardinals!” At the top of his lungs. Hilarious!

Also, he took me to Mexico for my 30th birthday and it was by far the most beautiful time we spent together in our 11 years. We explored, ate good food and laughed so many times during that trip.

Everything. Literally everything. He was the most complex person I’ve ever met but he was good, like good to his core. I’ll miss watching him with his babies. He’d look at our son (little Dan) and he’d say “look at him babe, isn’t he awesome!? He’s so awesome”. I’ll miss that mischievous little cocky grin. Him two inches from the tv screaming at the Seahawks. I’ll miss my best friend.

I want people to know that he was a fighter. That he was brave, and he fought his addiction, quite literally to the death. Daniel became addicted when he was 18 years old, after an injury but he fought back at it until the day he died. His addition was merciless, but so was he in his fight. He was so much more than what meets the eye. Though there was no beauty in the addiction, there was so much beauty in the addict. Remember him as good. A social butterfly. Remember him happy.

Max has the biggest most tender heart. He touched so many people and was the best person I know. He didn’t want to hide who he was or what he stood for.. I am so proud of him for standing up for what he believed in… he was strong like his mama

Everything .. eating a meal with him, our talks , his insight, his big hugs, his flowers he bought me, his cards that spoke his heart, traveling with him, spending birthdays with him (his & mine), seeing him and Madie laugh together, trying so hard to comfort us when he was hurting… his smell, how proud he was of his accomplishments.. his soul

I would like him to be remembered for the kind of person he is.. never saying a bad word about anyone, willing to always help out anyone who needed something, his huge heart, his love of children, his smile, his laugh, the joy that he brought other people even when he was hurting.. the privilege we all had being in his presence ❤️

Allison was an absolute force. A tiny, blond-haired, blue-eyed ball of fire. She cared deeply for others and was adored by everyone that met her.

My favorite memory is of Allison as a toddler, when she went through a phase of only wanting to wear her older brother's clothes and insisted on being called "George." I have a fabulous picture of her at about three, in her a pair of her brother's jeans, wearing no shirt, face dirty, and she's holding a purple parasol. I will cherish that photo forever.

We will miss everything. She was woven into every part of our lives. We'll miss her smile and her laughter, her warms hugs, and even her temper. Most of all, I (mom) am going to miss her scent; The smell at the top of her head; The same, comforting smell she had from the very beginning of her too short life.

Allie would like to be remembered as someone who cared deeply for those she loved, never passed judgment on anyone, and was willing to sacrifice pieces of herself to help others.

She would want to be remembered as intelligent, creative, and fierce.

Savannah was a great listener, fun to be around, she was sensitive and funny. She loved to bake. And liked to knit. She loved cats.

The day she was born, it was Mothers' Day.

Her smile. How she would do anything to make someone laugh.

She would want to be remembered as a cat lover.
