Age 34
Loving Son, Brother & Uncle
Age 34

Kind and gentle. Loved his family. Helped others. Took care of animals.

His kindness and the many special small gifts he gave me.

His sense of humor and his "belly" laugh!

As someone who fought hard to overcome the terrible disease of addiction.

Pierce James Elvis Blodgett was the son of Mary Grace Siracuse and David Andrew Blodgett. Brother of Jackson David Blodgett. He was VERY loved by his family and friends.

My favorite memory of Pierce is when he was a little he bought me a gift with his own money to turn my bad mood into a good one. He was a very loving person!

I miss EVERYTHING about Pierce! He was a beautiful, loving soul.

Pierce would like to be remembered as a person with a lot of love to give. He would like to be recalled as a person who loved his family and friends. He would like to be remembered as an intelligent, thoughtful person who tried VERY hard to beat addiction.

Shayne Ryan

Age 36
Father, Brother, The Mayor, Uncle, Friend
Age 36
36

Shayne was the friendliest person ever. Everyone knew him and loved him. He would give you the shirt off his back. He loved his 2 daughters more than anything. His big family, and millions of friends were central to his core.

He was hysterical. Always doing hilarious impersonations and making funny pun jokes.

His caring and kindness. He put everyone before himself and loved to make people laugh.

Shayne should not be remembered as an addict. That did not define him. He should be remembered as a loving father, brother, uncle and an amazing friend, who knew how to keep the party going, making sure everyone was happy and having a good time. Always playing good music along the way.

Robert Michael Sagaert

Age 65
Music set him free.
Age 65
65

Unc loved nature and music. Car mechanic, carpenter/handyman. He had a charming personality and lit up rooms. His first memory of alcohol was when he was eight, when his grandmother gave him some. He never stopped trying to get that high back.

He would be clean & sober for months or years, but couldn't sustain it. He has three children, and it was painful to him that addiction got in the way. His father physically and emotionally abused him. Told him he was a loser and would never measure up. Such terrible harm, and so undeserved.
He lived to take care of his mother, as he'd promised his father, until she died at 96. After that, he gave up.

My first memory of him is when he brought my sister and me Easter baskets when we were children. Over fifty years later, I still have my bunny from Unc!
I miss his Donald Duck imitations. Self-taught musicianship on guitar and piano. Sharing songs. Working on my house. Phone conversations. His laugh. His many talents. His sense of humor, which only quit while he was drunk, and came back as soon as he sobered up.

One of the most amazing man ever. The best husband, father and step father. He was my best friend. He had a heart of gold. He took my children under his wing and made them his own. He was taken way to soon. Heaven got an angel forsure.

The day I asked him to marry me. Thanksgiving day infront of all his family and our children

Him being a husband and a father he was amazing.

His awesome attitude about life he was always happy and made life so much easier

Age 36
Son, Brother, Father, Protector, Confidant
Age 36
36

Ray was a light in a dark time. Unfortunately, the dark took him too soon. He was the laugh at our kitchen table. I’ll never forget his smile. He cracked stupid jokes and teased us all the time.

I miss the way he would tease me. Strange as that sounds. It’s the little things you miss the most. His laughter was infectious and ridiculous. He was his own person. Always willing to help. My favorite memory of him is remembering how we would recite movie lines as if we were the rain man. We knew them all and always laughed at them.

Everything!

I think he would like to be remembered as the jokester he always was. Always laughing and having fun!

Age 28
Beautiful daughter, sister, and aunt.
Age 28
28

My daughter was a beautiful person inside and out. She had such a huge heart and would give her last dollar to anyone. She was so smart and loved music and writing. She had a great sense of humor.

I miss talking to my daughter. She would use these words that I would ask her “what does that mean?” And she would say “Really Mom”

I miss everything about her. Her smile, laughing and constantly telling me she loves me. I will miss her calling me “Kim” instead of mom.

She was a beautiful person. She had a problem with addiction but that didnt make her a bad person. She struggled every day but she was a beautiful, genuine soul.

James Theodore Brandon Kirkland

Age 33
Generous, loving, loyal and funny.
Age 33
33

Brandon was the best son! He always made me laugh and he was so generous and kind. He passed away from a fentanyl overdose one year and 2 weeks after his little brother who died from the same type of overdose. My life is definitely less colorful!

Him starring me awake looking thru his baby bed, he always looked like he was in baby jail and he had the cutest baby blue long johns on. This was just the start of many!!!

The sound of his voice calling me mom and his smile.

As a loving generous father, son and brother.

Dawson Pettit

Age 26
26

Dawson was a beautiful soul that loved his family, his dog Burly, and music. He is forever missed and thought of each and every day by his mother (me) who would give everything I own for 5 more minutes with my sweet Dawson.

My favorite memory of Dawson is a culmination and combination of many memories- his love of music, laughter, and people and his crazy way of talking, his nicknames for everyone, and his photographic memory of anything he had read or viewed he could remember it vividly.

Dawson's laugh, pure and joyful.

As a good son, brother, grandson, cousin, and friend.

Austin James Foreman

Age 33
Father, husband, son, brother, friend
Age 33

Austin was such a fun soul. He had goals and dreams, he worked hard and was very loved. He was so handsome, and he knew it. Austin knew how to please people and was very sentimental.

Watching Auston become a father again to our daughter

His laugh, his jokes, his kisses on my forehead

I know Austin wants his goodness to live through the kids

Robert Paul Goebel

Age 20
Beautiful son, loyal brother
Age 20
20

A beautiful young man with sparkling blue eyes and unruly blonde curls. As a child, he was outgoing, capturing everyone with his silliness and charming good looks. A caring and kind person, Robbie's hugs came freely and were always warm and sincere.

His sense of style was unique. He wasn’t afraid to be different, and independent…always a trendsetter. Rob was always so good at every hobby he tried..an extremely talented skateboarder, BMX rider, snowboarder, fisherman and welder. He loved spending time outdoors, fly fishing, salmon fishing, pond fishing - any kind, actually. He was content on the water and relished perfecting technique and the satisfaction of a well-earned catch. He enjoyed live music festivals and the Grateful Dead, too.

I do and will always miss everything about my youngest son. Life feels incomplete, off-balance now.

Without stigma and shame. Robbie was much more than he gave himself credit for. He gave of himself freely and would want to be remembered for his love, loyalty and passion for free-thinking and living according to his terms.
