Bryan Harrison Morse
What Bryan was like
Bryan had an amazing way of making us laugh and cringe at the same time. His unique sense of humor, and spontaneous off-colored thoughts, that he shared without a filter, were the foundation of his amazingly warm and sincere personality.
Fondest memories of Bryan
There is one memory that exemplifies Bryan both as a person and friend. Bryan had gotten into trouble with the law and spent time in jail. When Bryan was released, unlike the others who he was released with, Bryan still had on prison issued shirt and pants and ill-fitting sneakers, with no laces and holes. When I asked Bryan where his clothes and shoes were, he told me that he had given them away. He said, "There were guys in there with nothing, they needed them way more than me."
How Bryan will be missed
We’ll miss his smile, strong jaw line, broad shoulders, and deep emotional warmth that brought him to many peoples’ sides in good times and bad. We will also miss Bryan's love of nature, sense of adventure, outrageous thoughts, which he shared freely, and his love of all things wood. Bryan was a very gifted fine woodworker. He made unique and beautiful boxes, cutting boards, tables, chairs, a bed, a guitar, and countless hand-carved spoons. We will miss Bryan's artistry and craftsmanship.
How Bryan will be remembered
We will always remember Bryan's ability to make us laugh, his compassion for others, and his knack for acting before engaging his brain. He made friends easily, but he also kept friends. He was the glue that kept people together. He had a hard time helping himself but found it very easy to help others. Our memories of Bryan are filled with love and laughter, and we will continue to honor his memory by telling stories, of which there are many. Bryan we will love and miss you forever!
