Lucas Miller is the Director of Provider Relations for the Shatterproof Treatment Atlas team, where he manages stakeholder engagement for California’s participation in the Treatment Atlas quality measurement system for addiction treatment programs.
With over a decade of experience, Miller is a seasoned communications strategist and development professional with expertise across nonprofit organizations, Fortune 500 healthcare systems, media, and entertainment. Prior to joining Shatterproof, Miller held roles with the National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers (a leading organization focused on improving the quality and effectiveness of addiction treatment services), The Pride Institute (an LGBTQ+ focused addiction treatment center owned by Universal Health Services), and Allina Health, a prominent nonprofit health system based in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Miller holds a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Augsburg University and a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications and English Literature from the University of North Dakota, where he graduated cum laude. His expertise spans content strategy, audience engagement, and crafting compelling narratives across diverse platforms.
In his free time, Miller enjoys hiking with his dog, Stevie, around Los Angeles, where he currently resides.
