Jessica Liu is the Advancement Operations Manager for the Philanthropy and Advancement team at Shatterproof.

Prior to joining Shatterproof, Jessica worked for over 10 years at tech companies, Flex port and Tesla, where she provided program management across an array of initiatives to scale sales and operations. Before her time in corporate tech, Jessica began her career sharing human interest stories and reporting on current events through journalism and media at National Geographic Channel, NBCUniversal, Bloomberg, and Forbes. 

Throughout her career and personal life, Jessica has always been passionate about helping others, offering a voice to the voiceless, and making progress on improving the livelihood of society. Outside of her professional work experiences, Jessica has volunteered for Best Buddies, the Red Cross, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. She aims to stay humble, open-minded, and compassionate as she focuses on the mission-driven work towards ending the addiction crisis with the Shatterproof team.

After moving around from Washington, DC to New York, San Francisco, and Hong Kong, Jessica now resides in her hometown of Northern Virginia with her partner, Eric, and their dog, Spike. She graduated from American University with Bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration and Broadcast Journalism with a Minor in Mandarin Chinese language. She enjoys hot yoga, tennis, spending time with her family & friends, being out in nature, live music, and learning new things!
