Chris Hocevar is the CEO of Help a Home, a provider of homecare and community-based services in 12 states. Hocevar joined the company March 2021 and brings with him a deep understanding of Help at Home’s business, having acquired a wealth of industry knowledge from his distinguished career building, leading, and advising healthcare organizations, as well as serving as a member of the Help at Home board.
Previously, he worked for Cigna for the past 16 years serving in many executive leadership capacities with the most recent being the President of US Business Segments, Specialty Businesses, and Global Strategy responsible for the growth of Cigna’s US Commercial Business Portfolio. Prior to that, he lead several large growth business including the Pharmacy Business and Small Market Commercial Business for Cigna.
Before joining Cigna, Hocevar worked in Deloitte Consulting’s global insurance practice. He currently serves on the Boards of Community Psychiatry and Civitas.
He graduated from the University of Toledo in 1996 with a BBA in Accounting graduating Summa Cum Laude and earned his MBA with an emphasis in International Studies from Case Western Reserve University in 2001. He is a non-practicing CPA (Ohio).
