Leah Kaufman is the Assistant Vice President of Public Policy for Shatterproof. Leah has over a decade of experience working with state governments and the private sector to implement partnerships aimed at improving the quality of care for consumers.
She joined Shatterproof in 2018 as Director of State Engagement, working with the state governments to oversee the implementation of ATLAS, the nation's first addiction treatment quality measurement platform.
Prior to joining Shatterproof, Leah managed strategic partnerships at the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), where she led the Partners in Quality program, working with states, along with public and private payers to design value-based payment programs and statewide technical assistance projects aimed at increasing adoption of the patient-centered medical home model of care.
Before joining Shatterproof, Leah also held positions at the nonprofit Doctors Care, advocating for underserved and immigrant communities, and with The Colorado Academy of Family Physicians, where she led a statewide initiative aimed at increasing the adoption of the state immunization registry.
